Limitations

• Adhering to recommended water additions is very important. Exceeding the maximum recommended water content per sack will result in inferior physical properties.
• The ideal ambient temperature for grouting is between 5 – 30°C (41 – 84°F). Grouting in temperatures below 5°C will retard set and strength gain. Grouting in temperatures warmer than 30°C will decrease working time.
• The temperature of the mixed grout should be kept between 5°C and 35°C (41°F to 95°F).
• For pours exceeding 50 mm (2”) thickness and .28 m2 (3 ft2) in area, add 12.5 kg (28 lb.) of clean washed well graded 10 mm (3/8”) minus stone to each 25 kg (55 lb.) sack of MICROSILâ 1107 GROUT to achieve adequate results.
